Wightcare Services aims to be the Isle of Wight’s top provider of quality community care services, 24 hours a day, employing a range of staff that are fully committed to that end. Part of the Adult & Community Services Directorate of the Council, Wightcare Services brings together a number of distinctive services:

  • Lifeline – a 24 hour community alarm service provided to those living in their own homes as well as those living in sheltered housing schemes run by housing associations
  • Homecare – providing care and support to adults with complex needs and children and families, plus an out-of-hours emergency service
  • Call Answering – on behalf of a range of organisations, taking calls and referring on as agreed
  • Carers Emergency Alert Card – for people who look after an adult or child who is dependent upon them as a result of illness or disability, as well as being available to a dependent who may be at risk of wandering / becoming lost.
