AssessmentsAssessment is about understanding your children’s needs and coming to decisions with you about how your child might best be helped. The Government wants social care agencies nationally, to undertake assessments in the same way. ‘The Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and Their Families’ ensures that all professionals involved with your child/children work together, co-operatively, in the assessment process with you.
