![]() HomecareUnder the recent restructuring of the island’s home care service, Wightcare Services will be providing homecare support to service users who have been assessed by care management staff within the council’s Adult & Community Services Directorate as having complex care and support needs. In addition Wightcare Services also provides homecare support to the council’s Children’s Services Directorate. The care provided may include personal care, support with domestic tasks in exceptional circumstances, and a sitting service (short visits / overnight). Wherever possible the service will be provided at the times requested by the user, although our ability to meet such requests will be dependent upon the availability of carers. As a provider of homecare support Wightcare Services is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection. Homecare support for adults can only be accessed via care management staff based in one of the teams across the island. Further information can be obtained during office hours from; Central Duty Team (tel. 01983 823340). |
