Wightcare Services - RecruitmentWightcare Services objective is to;
The staff we employ are dedicated people who share our commitment to those we serve, and have the energy and drive to strive for excellence. The Lifeline service relies on 2 small teams, one of Operators and one of Mobile Wardens, who together ensure that there is always someone here to listen and offer assistance. Operators work on a shift basis to ensure that calls can always be answered, working in a Control Room environment that is very carefully monitored to ensure that both the staff and customer information is safe and secure. Working as a team the Mobile Wardens also provide 24 hour cover across the island. As well as demonstrating and fitting the lifeline equipment they also undertake monitoring visits to existing users of the service, and are also available to respond to any emergency where there is not a friend or relative able to assist. Our team of home carers work with a range of service users, adults as well as children and families. Much of the work is done during mornings, evenings and weekends, with staff working within a small team of carers or with a single colleague. A small and dedicated operational support team, who are also highly customer focussed and flexible in what is an extremely busy working environment, provide the necessary administrative support to all of our staff working out in the community. If you are interested in coming to work for us then see our advertisement in the Situations Vacant section, or email us at wightcare@iow.gov.uk |
