Plans

This plan provides a framework for the council to bring equality and diversity into all aspects of its daily business, including policymaking and services. Successful implementation of this plan will enable the council to achieve all five levels of the Equality Standards for Local Government.

The Corporate Plan is currently being updated to reflect the Council's latest agenda, including the One Island Programme. The existing corporate plan can still be accessed below.

The Plan sets out the long-term transport vision and five year strategy for transport on the Island. It explains how we will deliver schemes and improvements in line with national, regional and local plans and policies and seeks to build on the good performance demonstrated in the first LTP.

The Local Strategic Partnership Plan is an exciting and ambitious plan for the future of the Island and has been developed through the efforts of many partner agencies. Drafting has been co-ordinated by the Island Strategic Partnership (ISP) and marks the start of a new way of working.

The Isle of Wight Council has a clear commitment to improving the service that its customers receive and to make efficiency savings in the running of the Council that can be used for the benefit of its citizens. It has a clear ambition to become a truly customer centric organisation. As part of this process the Isle of Wight Council commissioned PA consulting to evaluate the potential of strategic partnering that can be accessed via this link.

This Plan, covering the school years 2003/2004 to 2007/2008, sets out how the Isle of Wight Council expects to plan its provision of school places during that period.

The Tourism Development plan sets out the 2020 Vision for Tourism on the Isle of Wight
