Approved Premises

Apart from the Register Office at Northwood House the Isle of Wight has a number of approved premises. These range from hotels to manor houses. You must make a booking with the venue of your choice before contacting the Superintendent Registrar who will then advise you as to the times available on that day. We are happy to attend marriages at Approved Premises on any day including Sundays and Bank Holidays.

There is an attendance fee for getting married at Approved Premises. This fee is payable approximately 3 weeks prior to your marriage and guarantees the attendance of Superintendent Registrar (or Deputy) and a Registrar for marriages on the day of your wedding. We recommend that you discuss the format of your ceremony with the Superintendent Registrar (or Deputy) at this time. For further details please contact the Superintendent Registrar.
